$45,000 Grant Awarded

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the success of our recent auction, the Dieringer Education Foundation awarded a first-round grant of $45,000 to the Dieringer School District at its recent school board meeting. Each of our district's three schools—Lake Tapps Elementary, Dieringer Heights Elementary, and North Tapps Middle School—received $15,000 to address urgent needs and enhance educational opportunities.

As part of this funding, the foundation presented Principal Priority Impact Grants of $3,400 to each building principal. These grants will address urgent and immediate building needs, as well as support initiatives that directly impact the day-to-day educational experience of our students. The remaining $11,600 per school will be used to fund additional teacher-driven projects and programs, further enhancing student learning and school environments.

Since its founding in 2009, the Dieringer Education Foundation has been dedicated to providing resources to the district that elevate and enrich the K-8 experience at Dieringer. This latest round of grants is a significant step toward continuing our mission of sustaining excellence within the Dieringer School District.
