6th Grade Camp Lives On

At our 2026 Auction, it was clear our community wanted 6th Grade Camp to continue. Because of tremendous support from donors that night, the Dieringer Education Foundation was able to award $32,000 to North Tapps Middle School to fund 6th Grade Camp again this year. As a result, our entire 6th grade class once again headed off to camp together this week.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this year's camp possible. You didn't just fund a program—you helped preserve a Dieringer tradition and create memories that our students will carry with them for years to come.

For generations, 6th Grade Camp has been an important part of the Dieringer experience. It gives our newest middle school students an opportunity to build friendships, develop confidence, experience the outdoors, and begin their middle school journey together. But when state funding for outdoor education was cut last year, the future of 6th Grade Camp was suddenly uncertain.

This is what the Dieringer Education Foundation is all about. When funding cuts threaten an experience that matters to our students, our community steps up. Our donors saw an important tradition at risk and responded in a big way.

Camp is still here because our Dieringer community came together to save it.

We can't wait to see what we can accomplish together next.
