The Young Family

It is almost unimaginable that one extended family could have provided Dieringer with a dozen outstanding employees who collectively worked in the district over one hundred seventy-five years.

Beginning with Norma and Bud Chadwick in the 1940's and continuing with Violet, Virginia, Jack, Jeannie, Steve, Jackie, Mike, Lisa, Kelsey and Monte Young, their volume of service is staggering to consider. The Youngs have worked in most classified positions in the district including cook, bus mechanic, custodian and bus driver. Even though much of their work has been conducted behind the scenes, they have always been present, doing the tough jobs to keep the schools functioning while giving their best to students and families.

The Young family will forever be a part of the fabric of our past and proof that the Dieringer School District is a special place.
